This is the season for Kickstarters, it seems. My friend Bill Keyes has a Kickstarter out for the villains book for his Prowlers & Paragons setting, Blood & Justice called Nocturne by Night. This is a dark gritty setting set in a town very much analagous to 'Nawlins (New Orleans.) I have played in his setting and thoroughly enjoyed it, so check out his Kickstarter, and get ready to trounce some bad (really bad) guys.

My friend Ross Watson has been working on a TTRPG (Tabletop RPG) project for the past few months called Secret World. It's based off the short-lived MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online RPG) that built a cult following in its time of operation. The project has recently launched on Kickstarter. If you played the old MMORPG, or you're into dark and gritty world settings plagued with corruption and conspiracy, then it might be worth your time to give it a look.

So I have been working with a co-author, Scott Crosson on an RPG setting for Savage Worlds called "Age of Pulp." Age of Pulp is set in 1930's New York. It's the debut title in a larger meta-setting we are planning called the Actionverse. In this setting, the Big Apple is home to mystery men, golden-age superheroes, and scheming antagonists who want to do everything from rob the good people of the city to take over the world. Attached is a sneak preview of the front cover with artwork by the incomparable Alberto Bontempi.
